How many members does a jury have in Scotland?
Correct Answer: 15
In Scotland, a jury has 15 members.
This is different from the rest of the UK where a jury has 12 members.
A simple majority verdict is possible in Scottish courts (8 of 15 jurors must agree), which is also why Scotland has the unique "not proven" verdict in addition to guilty and not guilty.
