How long does it take to donate blood?
Correct Answer: About an hour
A blood donation appointment takes approximately one hour in total.
The actual donation itself only takes around 10 minutes, but time is also needed for registration, a health check, and a short rest with refreshments afterwards.
The NHS Blood and Transplant service actively encourages eligible adults to donate regularly.
